So I got the best story about IB students the other day. Here it is....
A friend was speaking with a military person the other day and he told her Eva's quote about war, "War is state sponsored terrorism." He laughed, the military lady looked at him very seriously and said, "This is a problem. We believe that high school students are all communist and we hope that they will grow out of it and grow up to be republicans."
This bothered me slightly, but the more I thought about the first part of the statement, the more I realized we might just have communist tendencies. I wonder if there are any communists in Hedda Gabler, Marxist Reading anyone?

That is so true. I don't think they're just tendencies though. We are being fed large amounts of communism in the IB cirriculim. I know that for me communism is one of the best ideas I've learned from the program so far.
