Act 3 and still lovin it!

Ok, so it's the end of act 3 and i'm still in love w/this crazy play!!! First thought, WHAT IS UP WITH HEDDA TRYING TO GET LOVBORG TO KILL HIMSELF?!?!?! now, that shows power, but wow, i didn't really think that someone could do that! trying to get another person 2 commit suicide is pretty deep and intense. in the words of a dear friend, "what is this chick smoking?!?!?!" i think it's amazing that she would even try to put the idea into his head, but actually giving him the gun and basically telling him she thinks he should kill himself, now that's kinda diff. now, ik how it feels to think that you lost control, but gettin the guy to kill himself is prolly not the best thing to do. it was one thing to get him to go back to drinking (ik how that feels, they finally are gettin better n stop doing w/e it was that was bad 4 them, but u just want them to go back to bein the person they were b4), but killing himself? really. not 2 cool. w/e happened to loving ur friends more than life itself? idk. lets back track in the act though. so the thing with Brack n Hedda was a little odd. and i'm a little concerend with the whole "cock" thing. a one cock walk... are we implyin that George is not a man? that's the impression that i got and that's just not cool. just cuz he's kind, caring, and scatter brained (maybe overly naive) doesn't make him ne less a man. what does he constantly have to b playing with guns, cursing, spittin, n doin other stereotypical guy things? i'd prefer George over any of the other guys in the play, personally. (prolly a little tmi there, but o well.) i think the thing that was the most weird was the idea that George didn't want ne one 2 know that he had the manuscrpit and that he didn't want Hedda 2 read it. was he planning on stealing parts of it or something? idk. i guess that's the wonder of Hedda Gabler well, we'll see.

Yeah I was totally creeped out by the pressure for suicide by Hedda. She's crazy on so many levels but yet is an awesome manipulator. Her plans seem to work out for her on some level. When Hedda's with Lovborg and giving him the gun its all confusing because its the same gun she was going to shoot him with some time before and than she said later to him that there was a reason she never shot him and he was like "oh is it because you love me..." but of course now I'm on your train of thought thinking she just wanted him to do it himself so she waits for however many years it takes for him to come back to her and then she makes sure he is at the end of his line, desperate in a sense in order to get him to do what she wants. So yeah... a little wack-o but if she was thinking how I'm thinking now, then she was a genius since it all worked out for her... well I guess everything didn't work out for her by act 4 but you get what I mean...
