Act 4!!!!!!!!!!

ok, so this act was pretty much the..... well, uk what i mean. r-rite, so i fig'd out that Hedda stands for. she's the independant womyn of society n in the end she gets crushed cuz she can't truly control her life. Brack is male society and tries to control Hedda by ne means necessary, including "blackmale". the fact that he was willing to tell her that she was now truly under his power made him despicable in my eyes. that kind of power is not tru power, that's just lame. the idea that Lovborg got shot (yeah, ik i just totally flipped directions, but i was pretty much done with the other "train of thought".) in the stomach by the mademoiselle. made me just as mad as it made Hedda. that is so incredibly rediculous, i mean, it makes sense cuz of what we heard in act 2, but still. i really wanted him to commit suicide, as bad and "Hedda-esk" as that sounds. i think the idea of control was truly important in this act and it was completely betrayed by the mademoiselle killing Lovborg rahter than him killing himself. o well. i love that Hedda does finally take control of her life and commit suicide though. it was done quite well. as a theatre nerd, i think it could be realized soooooooo well. i mean, really, really well. her playing piano crazily before made it seem as though she were finally free in life and slightly crazy cuz she was so free and she was able to become completely free by gettin rid of the earthly ties/restraints that she had. the only other thing that i noticed was that George was a little 2 eager to work with Thea to recreate her "child". That kinda sounds like he's eager to b with her, that not ok. he should wanna b with Hedda. idk, maybe i'm just paranoid and jumping to conclusions (not that ne 1 in r skool does that) but it just seemed a little suspicious. On top of his overly enthusiastic want for and engrossment in the project, the suggestion that Thea go live with Aunt Julie was a little much, sounds like he's setting up his woman on the side so that it didn't seem suspicious to the general public. o well, i guess even the "nice guy" has the ability to be suspicious and possibly a cheatin uk what.
